The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office has opened the application period for subsidies

The OEPM has opened the period to request aid for the promotion of patent applications and utility models. The term ends on October 9 and focuses on the grant of:

• At the national level: application procedures and/or state-of-the-art report (IET) for patent and utility model applications and substantive examination for patent applications.
• On an international level:
  • Extension of a patent or utility model application, before the national offices of third countries or regional patent offices, including application procedures, search, examination or grant report, EPO annuities and European patent validation.
  • PCT: application procedures, international search or preliminary examination.
